Steven Henning is the Partner-in-Charge of the Litigation and Corporate Financial Advisory Services Group at Marks Paneth & Shron LLP. He provides consulting and expert testimony in securities litigation, transactional due diligence and forensic accounting services. He also assists Boards of Directors and senior executives with the application of GAAP and complying with SEC regulations.
With more than 20 years of experience, Dr. Henning has facilitated companies raising capital through private placements, assisted foreign private issuers to register and list their shares in the U.S., counseled Boards of Directors on SEC reporting requirements, and assisted with the reconciliation of accounts from international to U.S. accounting standards. His broad background also includes assisting corporations with revenue recognition issues, performing acquisition due diligence, and consulting on M&A-related issues such as fair value.
Dr. Henning was an Academic Fellow in the Office of the Chief Accountant at the SEC and currently serves on both the NASDAQ Listing Qualifications Panel and the SEC Regulations Committee.
