Dr. Mark Levy has been practicing clinical Psychiatry, Psychoanalysis and Forensic Psychiatry for nearly 35 years. Since the early 1980's, Dr. Levy has provided Independent Medical Examinations (IME's), consultation and testimony in civil matters, including more than 250 medical-legal cases (plaintiff and defense) and has testified in State and Federal courts on 26 occasions. Since 1976, Dr. Levy has been on the clinical faculty of the Department of Psychiatry, School of Medicine, UCSF. He is also on the faculty at the San Francisco Psychoanalytic Institute. Together with the Bar Association of San Francisco, Dr. Levy helped establish a CLE program for attorneys focusing on psychology and the law. He has also been a faculty member, lecturer and panelist in CLE programs sponsored by the University of California, Hastings School of Law, College of Advocacy, the California State Bar Association, Northern California Association of Defense Council and the Defense Research Institute. He has been interviewed widely by the professional, print and broadcast media.
