Dr. Stanfield has 40 years of active experience in Audiology, hearing loss, noise exposure and hearing aids. He has developed company-wide hearing conservation programs for industry. He has conducted accident investigation and sound level surveys in railroad, maritime and mining industries. He has served as an expert witness and consulted on cases of occupational hearing loss, traumatic hearing loss, audibility and the law. He has also conducted sound level surveys, consulted and testified in court cases regarding community noise complaints. Dr. Stanfield has testified in several states with cases involving educational planning and the appropriate placement for hearing impaired children. He has testified and consulted in MS, AL, AR, IL, TX, LA and NM.
