Industry pioneer and visionary who has traveled to Pacific Rim countries over 75 times since 1963. Joined Radio Shack in 1959 when they had 3 stores. Promoted to President in 1984. Retired in 1993 with nearly 7000 stores as Senior VP of Tandy Corp. and Chairman of Radio Shack. Frequent speaker at universities and industry groups on international negotiation and procurement, business ethics and sales and marketing. Inducted into the Consumer Electronics Hall of Fame in 2002. Member of the Consumer Electronics Association Small Business Council.
