George Hicks is a registered Professional Engineer in Michigan, Ohio & Pennsylvania. He has a degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Michigan. He is a diplomate of the American Board of Forensic Engineering & Technology and an ACTAR Accredited Traffic Accident Reconstructionist. He runs his own engineering consulting firm, Ingenium Engineering Services in Petersburg, Michigan (Monroe County). He conducts inspections of handicapped modified vehicles for the State of Ohio, Pennsylvania and Indiana. His engineering experience has been in the automotive and mechanical engineering fields since 1976. He has been involved in accident reconstruction, product defect analysis and vehicle testing. Vehicle testing has included trailer towing, rollover, braking and component temperature evaluations. Fire cause analysis investigations have been conducted on automotive vehicles (cars & trucks), farm tractors, construction equipment, tractor trailers and mechanical products.
