Jon C. Cooper has 25 years of experience in environmental conservation as an environmental scientist, lawyer and senior manager with positions in non-profit, government, academia, and private industry groups. He has extensive experience with Federal environmental laws (NEPA, the Clean Water Act, Clean Air Act, Superfund laws, Toxic Substances, Pesticides, Endangered Species, etc.) in expert testimony, environmental enforcement, regulatory development and alternative dispute resolution. As a consultant, Dr. Cooper has performed over 100 assignments in 30 countries and the United States, with special emphasis on governmental and donor groups in Asia and Africa. His work has led to more than 50 publications.
