Alan Baxter is a former United Nations executive who has worked as an independent consultant and expert witness to American and foreign law firms, corporations and government agencies since 1982. He is a past member of the Canadian Bar Association, the International Association of Chiefs of Police, the Washington State Trial Lawyers Association, The Washington Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, and is a current member of the American College of Forensic Examiners Institute, the National Association of Chiefs of Police, and the American Correctional Association. He is a former police commander, adjunct professor of criminal justice and international business law, and a P.O.S.T. certified instructor. He has successfully consulted and opined, case managed, or investigated more than 3000 legal cases over the past 34 years in all levels of police matters and premises liability.
