The Forensic Psychology Group provides forensic psychological evaluations in the following areas: criminal mitigation issues, employment discrimination, age discrimination, sex discrimination, sexual harassment, all aspects of immigration, neuropsychological assessment/head trauma, personal injury, medical malpractice, and other civil claims. Dr. Stephen Reich, who is both a psychologist and a lawyer, is the Director of the Group. He has been on the Faculty of the Weill Cornell University Medical College (Department of Psychology), and on the Attending Staff of the New York- Presbyterian Hospital (Payne Whitney Psychiatric Clinic), for over 35 years, in addition to his private practice as a forensic psychologist, diagnostic evaluator, and psychotherapist. He has lectured extensively, and is clear, articulate, and concise in his presentations. He practiced law privately before becoming a psychologist, and also served as an Assistant Attorney General of the State of New York, and as a Lieutenant, Judge Advocate General Corps, in the United States Naval Reserve. Dr. Reich received his B.A., J.D., and M.B.A. from Columbia University, and his M.A. and Ph.D., from Fordham University in Clinical Psychology. He was a United States Public Health Fellow, as well as a Postdoctoral Fellow in Clinical Psychology at the Cornell University Medical College.
