I am a practicing Emergency Physician and Medical Director of a moderate volume community Emergency Department in Northern New Jersey. I completed a residency in Emergency Medicine in 1993 at Morristown Memorial Hospital (Morristown, NJ). I have been board certified in Emergency Medicine since 1994 and re-certified in 2003. I have an extensive understanding of matters of medical standards through my clinical experience and through my administrative background -- I have 13 years of clinical experience and 6 years of experience as a medical director. For the last 3 years, I have been the Medical Director and Mobile Intensive Care Unit Director at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital at Rahway (NJ). I am a clinical assistant professor in the department of Medicine, Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital.
As part of my responsibilities, I supervise a staff of 10 full time physicians, 2 full time paramedic units and I instruct rotating medical students. I am actively involved in improving quality standards at our hospital. This commitment stems from a desire to provide our community with the highest degree of medical care.
I have performed duties as an expert witness for the last 5 years. I will provide evidence or testimony that is complete, objective and scientifically based.
