Anita Beckerman, ARNP, EdD, has more than 20 years experience in the medical field with emphasis on the older adult in nursing homes and ambulatory settings. Dr. Beckerman is licensed as an Adult Nurse Practitioner in Gerontology in Florida. She has taught pathophysiology for 17 years, focusing on diseases of the older adult. She has extensive knowledge and experience in care of the older adult, with numerous research, publications, and professional presentations in this specialty.

Dr. Beckerman has served as an expert witness for both plaintiff and defense, providing consultative/medical expert testimonial services that relate to medical issues of concern, medical case summaries, and medical literature research utilizing clinical and theoretical expertise, ascertaining that medical care provided is in compliance with accepted standards of care.
