Barry White consults and provides expert witness and consultation support to attorneys and their clients.

I have over 30 years experience in safety and health issues and accident investigation, both in the government and private industry. For the past 14 years I have consulted with and provided expert witness and expert consultation support to attorneys and their clients. I have prepared reports, been deposed and/or testified for both plaintiff and defendants in cases involving personal injury, construction accidents, slips and fall, chemical exposure, workplace accidents and injuries, OSHA compliance and regulation and asbestos exposure.

During my 19 years with the Occupational Safety and Health Administration I directed OSHA's entire field enforcement program; served as the OSHA Regional Administrator in Chicago; and directed the writing of both health standards and safety standards. I have been in hundreds of workplaces to inspect and audit industry and manufacturing processes of all kinds. Safety and health standards developed under my direct supervision included proposed and final standards addressing lockout/tagout, confined space entry, marine terminals, shipbuilding, asbestos, benzene, tunneling, concrete and masonry, trenching and excavation, fall protection, scaffolds, machine guarding, electrical safety, powered industrial truck operator training, process safety management, laboratory safety, electric power generation, and hazardous waste site operations.
