He held senior management positions at two of the 50 largest financial institutions in America at the time, Mellon and Centrust Banks, and has consulted with over 50 financial services organizations with assets from $250 million to $500 billion. Litigation support and expert witness experience includes several cases involving amounts at issue between $50 and $130 million.
It is estimated over 95% of financial institutions out source their software and transaction processing to Third Parties. All of Mr. Cooney's management and most consulting experience involved applications housed entirely within the financial institutions. This experience enables him to better follow most transactions from their inception to completion and understand the related software and processing routines.
