Profile:
Marlin E. Buckley is the managing principal of the Firm, and is responsible for the day to day operations. Marlin is a hands-on, no nonsense professional, with over 30 years experience in the construction industry. After completing apprenticeships in the electrical, carpentry, and plumbing trades Marlin successfully passed master level registration examinations in electric, plumbing, and fire suppression. He maintains active registrations in Philadelphia, New Jersey, and Delaware. Marlin is also an accomplished finish carpenter.

On the job training at several of the Philadelphia area's most prestigious firms has given Marlin the skills required in today's highly complex and competitive construction market. His seasoned estimating skills are unusually diverse, with competencies in general, mechanical, and electrical construction. Projects have included research laboratories, hospitals, medical centers, offices, restaurants, military installations, technology centers, schools, universities, libraries, retail stores, banks, and hotels. Renovations, new construction, and historically certified restorations fill out the portfolio. Conceptual estimating is one of his specialties.

Strong computer skills are vital in today's business economy. Marlin is proficient in Microsoft® Word®, Excel®, Project®, along with Primavera Systems® P3® and SureTrak®.

Having earned a Bachelor of Science degree, along with other extensive course work in business and engineering, Marlin continues his educational ambitions by attending various seminars and extensively reads the industry trade publications. Marlin is a present or former member of the General Building Contractors Association (GBCA), The Associated General Contractors of America (AGC), American Society of Professional Estimators, American Society of Plumbing Engineers, American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air- Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE), Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers (IEEE), The International Code Council (ICC), and the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA).
