Drs. Frank and Kyle Cushing, Licensed Clinical Psychologists with 35+ years experience, have evaluated hundreds of individuals in civil and criminal matters. Having worked for the Federal Bureau of Prisons, Dr. Kyle Cushing, a Consulting Forensic Examiner, performed numerous evaluations on criminal issues: insanity, fitness for trial, competency to waive Miranda or confess. The doctors have also completed death penalty evaluations, sex offender risk assessments and likelihood of recidivism.
Drs. Cushing have conducted scores of civil forensic evaluations in areas of child custody/visitation, and termination of parental rights and guardianship. Dr. Frank Cushing, designated a Vocational Expert by the Social Security Administration, has testified at 100+ Disability Hearings. Vocational disability and fitness for duty or psychological injury on the job, impairment from a motor vehicle or other accidents including PTSD evaluations are available. The doctors have also performed psychological autopsies.
Psycho-educational evaluations to determine the presence and extent of Learning Disabilities, ADHD or emotional or behavior problems that interfere with school functioning are conducted.
