Norman Marcus MD is board certified by the American Academy of Pain Medicine, Clinical Associate Professor of Anesthesiology and Psychiatry, and Director of Muscle Pain Research at the NYU School of Medicine. Past President of the Academy of Pain Medicine and Director of the Norman Marcus Pain Institute, he has founded and directed three pain centers - two in New York City and one in the UK. He started the clinical outcomes assessment project for the AAPM in 1990.
