I am the semi-retired Executive Vice President Engineering for Detroit Diesel a subsidiary of Daimler GmbH and former subsidiary of Penske Corp. and former division of General Motors. I have had my consulting business since 2000. I am expert in diesel engines, diesel emissions, diesel fuels and have been in law suits regarding asbestos gaskets, engine fires, development contracts, patent infringement and product liability. Applications include trucks, buses, rail, boats and industrial. I have a BSME from GMI and a MSME from MIT. I am a SAE Fellow and a member of ASME.
