Sandy Lechtick has 34 years of executive search and attorney placement experience. Since 1973, Sandy has either personally handled or supervised the placement of more than 5000 professionals in the technology, computer, aerospace, defense, manufacturing, insurance, medical device, life sciences, biotechnology, financial and chemical sector, and more than 700 attorneys at law firms, in-house and staff counsel operations.
Sandy, who specializes in partner placement, has successfully represented more than 150 partners, facilitated seven law firm mergers and handled the acquisitions of more than two-dozen practice groups. He has placed more than 100 lawyers in-house. Mr. Lechtick has moderated law firm panels with leading partners in California and is quoted extensively in legal and business publications including The Daily Journal; The Recorder; L.A. Business Magazine and American Lawyer.
Sandy has built three executive search firms from scratch, hired and trained more than 200 recruiters, and handled all marketing, financial and business development activities. Since 1973, he has established relationships with Fortune 500 corporations, emerging growth companies and some of the largest law firms in the world. Sandy is founder and president of Esquire, Inc., one of California’s top attorney placement organizations. He has authored 12 articles in The Daily Journal, L.A. Business Magazine and other publications.
Sandy has been retained as an expert witness by several leading law firms including: Sheppard Mullin; Lewis Brisbois; Christensen Glaser and Littler Mendelson. Mr. Lechtick has been retained in high stakes litigation involving labor and employment issues; market analysis; salary information; job performance and related job data. He has given expert testimony in several depositions and in a Superior Court Jury trial.
