Profile:
The Friedman LLP Forensic Accounting Services Group works with financially troubled companies, secured and unsecured creditors committees and court-appointed trustees. It performs forensic accounting and fraud investigations, due diligence services, royalty compliance engagements and collateral examinations on behalf of banks and other institutional lenders. The Group also performs valuations to assist owners of family-owned or closely-held businesses in determining the value of their companies for a variety of purposes, including: gift and estate tax planning; partner/shareholder disputes and other litigation matters; mergers and acquisitions; buy/sell agreements; financial statement reporting and obtaining financing.
