David A. Renfroe, Ph.D., P.E., is a vehicle dynamics expert licensed in the State of Arkansas. He is Director of The Engineering Institute, Inc., and President, Owner and Principal Engineer for Renfroe Engineering, Inc. His expertise includes accident reconstruction, occupant restraint system/component failure analysis, vehicle rollover analysis, structural crashworthiness and system/component design. His work is widely published, and he has presented and taught both nationwide and overseas. He has provided expert testimony in hundreds of cases in both state and federal courts. He has been awarded several research contracts and owns three U.S. patents on proprietary steering systems.
