Mr. Stegall has over 30 years of insurance, reinsurance and risk management experience. He has worked as an underwriter, a retail agent, a wholesale broker, a reinsurer, as a consultant to business, commerce, industry, hedge, private equity & mutual funds and as an expert witness in litigation. His experience includes: Executive Management, Underwriting, Marketing, Production, Sales Management, Business Development, Product Development, Product Management, Program Management, Claims Management, Risk Management and Alternative Risk Transfer. He has underwritten, marketed, developed and sold traditional insurance products as well as developed and implemented self-insured programs for qualified self-insurers; created self-insured funds; developed captive insurance companies; created national programs; placed and produced reinsurance. He has managed risks for individual accounts with one employee to 10,000 employees and underwritten books of business in excess of $150 million.

Mr. Stegall is a graduate of Auburn University and was conferred with the designation of Chartered Property & Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) by The American Institute for Property and Liability Underwriters in 1988. The Insurance Institute of America recognized him as an Associate in Risk Management (ARM) in 1991 and an Associate in Reinsurance (ARe) in 1999. The Association of Registered Professional Adjusters recognized him as a Registered Professional Adjuster in 2008. He is a member and a former Director of the North Alabama Chapter of CPCU.
