Andrew Sulner's testimony as a forensic document examiner has been favorably cited in numerous federal and state court decisions. The Sulner name is associated with three generations of document examiners. Mr. Sulner has over 30 years of experience in examining questioned and disputed documents on behalf of major law firms, banks, insurance companies and financial institutions as well as federal and state law enforcement and regulatory agencies. Mr. Sulner, a former state prosecutor, is qualified to handle the most complex issues concerning the authenticity or fraudulent preparation of documentary evidence.
Forensic Document Examinations, LLC is a modern, full-service forensic laboratory located in the heart of New York City. The FDE Laboratory is equipped with state-of-the-art instrumentation for examination and identification of handwriting, hand printing, typewriting, computer-generated printing, stamp impressions, paper, and photocopies; determination of forgery or authentication of signatures; detection of erasures, alterations, additions and substitutions; nondestructive video spectral differentiation of inks, writing instruments and paper; decipherment (restoration) of erased, obliterated and indented text; examination of Medical Records and Business Records to determine evidence of reconstruction (preparation other than in the ordinary course of business); establishing the source of origin and method of preparation of documents; and determining the sequence of preparation and relative date (age) of documents or entries thereon. Mobile laboratory equipment is available for on-site examination and forensic testing of documents.
