R.J. Montgomery Associates was founded by Reginald J. Montgomery, who is a Certified Legal Investigator (CLI), Certified Polygraphist (CP), Certified Security Trainer (CST), Certified Protection Professional (CPP), Physical Security Professional (PSP), Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE), Certified International Investigator (CII) and Personal Protection Specialist (PPS).
Reggie is a retired distinguished and decorated New Jersery Law Enforcement Officer. In 1979 he started his Detective Agency. He personally supervises and reviews every case the company handles. R.J.M.A. has successfully conducted investigations for Corporate, Legal and Private concerns of national and international notability.
Reginald J. Montgomery was President of the New Jersey Licensed Private Investigators Association from 1996-2000, has served as the Assistant National Director, Regional Director and National Secretary for The National Association of Legal Investigators (NALI) and was the Chapter Chairman (2000 -2001) for the American Society for Industrial Security (ASIS International), Northern New Jersey. He also served as Vice-Chairman ASIS International Investigations Council.
Mr. Montgomery was named to the Certification Board of the United States Association of Professional Investigators, 2005-2006.
Mr. Montgomery has traveled the world conducting Seminars on investigations, polygraph, diversion, safety, security, workplace violence, numerous topics at universities and is often requested by Professional associations. Reggie has been certified by numerous courts as an expert in virtually every aspect of criminal defense, corporate security and investigative related matters. Reggie has appeared on dozens of network television programs as a polygraph and investigative expert.
