Brandi L. Ruffalo, MBA, AVA, CBA, is founder and president of The Business Development Company and co-founder of Valuation & Forensic Partners, LLC. Through these entities our firm offers comprehensive business valuation, forensic accounting, fraud investigation and litigation support services for shareholder disputes, damages, lost profits, marital dissolution, financial record reconstruction, financial reporting, business transactions, and tax purposes.

Brandi has extensive experience in valuation and financial consulting and provides support and expert witness testimony in litigation matters including shareholder disputes, damages, and lost profit calculations. She holds the designation of Accredited Valuation Analyst and is active in the National Association of Valuators Analysts (NACVA) and she also holds her Certified Business Appraisers (CBA) designation from the Institute of Business Appraisers (IBA). She has an MBA from the University of Chicago with concentrations in finance entrepreneurship.

Brandi's publications and teaching include materials for the international business valuation credential (CVA), the annual recertification course for NACVA (Current Update) and NACVA's reporting writing classes. She currently serves on NACVA's teaching team for the Advanced Business Valuation Class and Case Study. Brandi, named a NACVA Instructor of Exceptional Distinction on several occasions, has spoken at four out of five NACVA National Conferences. In 2010, Brandi authored two chapters in the Wiley Guide to Fair Value Under IFRS, including "Excellent Valuation Reports" and "Customer Relationships."
