Dworkin is a professional Aquatics Safety & Water Rescue Consultant for Lifesaving Resources, LLC, a company dedicated to drowning & aquatic injury prevention and emergency management. He is responsible for the development of Lifeguarding, Aquatics Safety, Water Rescue, Swiftwater Rescue, and Ice Rescue training curriculums, and for the conduct of these training programs throughout North America for the Public Safety and Rescue, as well as the Lifeguard and Aquatic Recreation Sectors. Dworkin has written and published over 40 articles and has appeared as a subject matter expert for numerous national media broadcasts, including ABC, CBS, NBC, CNN, MSNBC, The Weather Channel, and The Discovery Channel. He has consulted as an Expert in over 250 cases to date throughout the U.S. He has over 35 years of professional and volunteer experience as a Firefighter and Emergency Medical Technician and is currently a Firefighter/EMT for the Kennebunkport (Maine) Fire Department. Dworkin serves on the Board of Directors for the National Drowning Prevention Alliance, and on Advisory Committees for the International Swimming Hall of Fame and the American Red Cross Lifeguard Curriculum Development Team.
