How The Weatherworks (HTWW) provides expert forensic weather and climate services including weather event reconstruction; data analysis and interpretation; detailed, yet understandable, oral and written reports; presentation quality trial graphics (posters and computer-based imagery); and expert testimony and depositions. Mr. Mogil (CEO, HTWW) has more than 40 years of meteorological experience including nearly 30 years as a forecaster, research meteorologist and trainer in NOAA (National Oceanic & Atmospheric Administration). He has also trained TV meteorologists in satellite imagery interpretation, written numerous books and hundreds of articles/features about weather and provided expert testimony in nearly 60 cases. He has testified and/or been deposed in cases involving car accidents, slip and falls, roof collapses, wind damage, boating incidents, criminal negligence and even a case involving an illegal drug transaction. Mr. Mogil has earned the Certified Consulting Meteorologist (CCM) and Certified Broadcast Meteorologist (CBM) ratings from the American Meteorological Society.

Mr. Mogil uses every available source of data (not just airport observations) to ascertain if and how weather played a role in any case. He then provides understandable written and/or oral reports to assist attorneys and/or insurance companies in arbitrations and/or trials. His trial exhibits and his ability to communicate in courtroom settings have earned him exceptionally high marks from his clients.
