Don Vilfer is a founder and member of VAND Group, a top-tier Computer Forensics and e-discovery firm in the Sacramento, California area. His company provides services to several Fortune 500 companies, law firms, government agencies and small businesses. Don has provided sworn testimony in nearly 100 cases in State and Federal Courts, as well as The International Trade Commission. Don previously served in the FBI as the Special Agent in charge of the White Collar Crime and Computer Crime Unit in Sacramento. As such, he led investigations of Federal White Collar Crime and Computer Crime violations, including an international computer intrusion and extortion investigation. After his tenure in the FBI, he held the position of Senior Director of Litigation Support and Investigative Services for a large accounting firm before forming a private firm and now having served law firms and businesses for over 15 years. Don is a graduate of the Ohio State University College of Law and a member (inactive) of the Ohio Bar.
