Martin Janis, MD, FACP, has had 25 years of experience as a legal expert. He has a special interest in geriatric problems, particularly in the context of skilled nursing homes, assisted living facilities and home health nursing agencies.
He has been the medical director of two hospices and of two home health nursing agencies.
Dr. Janis is board certified in both internal medicine and geriatric medicine.
Currently, he is in full time geriatric practice in Raleigh, NC. His practice was recently awarded the North Carolina Triangle (Raleigh-Durham-Cary) Home Health and Hospice Award as the "2014 Medical Practice of the Year."
His BA is from Columbia and his MD from New York University.
He has published articles in respected scientific journals.
He is past instructor in Medicine at the University of Wisconsin, past assistant professor of clinical medicine at University of California, Davis, and past clinical faculty at Duke University School of Medicine.
