Over twenty-five years of experience in Forensic Psychology. He is trained as a Family Divorce Mediator, Parenting Coordinator, Guardian ad Litem, Collaborative Law Practice, and Child Custody Evaluator. He co-authored the book, The Essentials of Parent Alienation Syndrome, and a number of articles for bar association journals and publications. He co-founded the National Association of Parental Alienation Specialists, and has testified as an expert on Parental Alienation in numerous courts across the U.S. including: Colorado, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Illinois, Kansas, Louisiana, Maine, Massachusetts, Mississippi, Missouri, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Oregon, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, and Washington.

He also testified in the following Florida County Courts: Alachua, Broward, Brevard, Clay, Collier, Miami-Dade, Duval, Flagler, Highland, Hillsborough, Lake, Lee, Leon, Manatee, Marion, Martin, Okaloosa, Orange, Osceola, Palm Beach, Pasco, Pinellas, Polk, Putnam, Sarasota, Seminole, Volusia, and Walton.

He has conducted several hundred child custody evaluations in various states across America. Dr. Evans is an approved sponsor of continuing education for psychologists by the American Psychological Association and has been approved by many legal bar associations to conduct continuing legal education on a variety of topics, including Litigating Family Law Cases with Parent Alienation.

Trained in Richard Warshak's Family Bridges Workshop for Troubled and Alienated Parent-Child Relationships as a Reunification Specialist.
