Dr. Sica is a board certified neuropsychologist and expert witness drawing upon over 35 years of clinical experience in private practice, hospital, academic, and legal settings.
Areas of specialty include forensic neuropsychology, traumatic brain injuries, cerebral vascular accidents, brain tumors, various types of dementias and learning disabilities, and workplace injuries.
Dr. Sica assists in the resolution of plaintiff and defense cases and consults for insurance companies regarding cost containment and legal neuropsychological support.
Beginning in the late 1970s, Dr. Sica founded Neuropsychological Rehabilitation Services-Lifespan where he still serves as Principal Partner and Director. Additionally, he is a staff clinical neuropsychologist at Jersey Shore University Medical Center (Neuroscience Division) and Riverview Medical Center, where he treats patients along with his academic responsibilities of teaching medical students, and neuropsychological residents.
Dr. Sica obtained his first board certification in neuropsychology in 1984 from the American Board of Professional Neuropsychology, and second in 1992. He is a member and fellow in many professional organizations including the American College of Professional Neuropsychology. The doctor is also a published author and frequent lecturer.
