We achieve these goals by attending actuarial and related industry meetings, reading actuarial journals. We participate in diverse new insurance and actuarial science endeavors.

Professional liability and Workers Compensation are significant components of our work, although we have analyzed primary and reinsurance pricing and certified reserves for virtually every class and line of business. Our analyses require an understanding of coverage, accounting requirements, compliance to regulatory requirements as well as mathematical expertise. We prefer to keep the mathematics simple to ease understanding and transparency, but produce complex calculations as situations require.

Among our clients are second injury funds, insurers, reinsurers, self- insurers, captives, hospitals, municipalities, agents, School Boards and others. We have worked with about 75% of our clients over ten years and about 40% over 20 years. We retain 95% or more of our clients each year. SGRisk, LLC believes that the Company and staff have prepared thousands of reserve analyses, including many estimates with projected funding requirements for municipalities.
