David Darnel is a Biomedical Engineer and Certified Clinical Engineer consulting in medical equipment management and patient safety. He has successfully completed numerous FDA and Joint Commission audits. He developed and managed equipment safety programs including the evaluation, installation, training, maintenance, operator error detection, and regulatory reporting for healthcare technologies.
He directed equipment acquisition, testing and service for critical care, monitoring, and life support equipment. He served daily as in-hospital technical expert for hospital administrations, member of the patient safety committee and liaison to the FDA and Joint Commission.
David has lectured at national meetings and has 20 years teaching experience. He is available as an Expert witness.
