David M. Hallman is a Licensed Professional Engineer in six states with over twenty five years combined experience in materials research, mechanical engineering and design, crash testing research and crash investigation and reconstruction, vehicle fire research and investigation, automotive mechanics and forensic mechanical and materials investigation. He holds degrees in mechanical engineering (BS) and materials science and engineering (MS). His nearly ten years hands-on experience as an automotive mechanic coupled with his two degrees makes him ideally suited for all types of failure investigations. David has worked on a wide variety of forensic mechanical, forensic materials and forensic metallurgical investigations as well as all aspects of crash investigation and reconstruction. Since 2011, David has been involved with several different crash teams around the country and has been deeply involved in planning and executing instrumented vehicle crash tests. Hallman Engineering is equipped for Crash Data Imaging utilizing the Bosch Crash Data Retrieval (CDR) equipment and is capable of performing Hyundai and Kia CDR images. David is certified as a CDR Analyst and a CDR Systems Trainer / Mentor.
