David Rosenblum, MD, with expertise in opiate prescribing, epidural injections for back pain or labor, nerve blocks, spinal cord stimulators, sympathetic block, joint injections, anesthesiology, and more, has been listed in NY Magazine's Top Pain Physicians. Dr. Rosenblum is the Director of Pain Management at Maimonides Medical Center, and also an Assistant Professor at Downstate Medical Center. He is a Board Certified in Anesthesiology and Pain Management. He has given lectures at major academic institutions and conferences. He has made multiple appearances at NYU's Sirus XM Radio's show, Doctor Talk to discuss anesthesia and postoperative pain management. He is the President and Creator of QBazaar.com, an online board review company that has prepared over a 3000 physicians for specialty board exams including the American Board of Anesthesiology's Pain Management and Anesthesiology exams.
Dr. Rosenblum is involved in multicenter clinical trials, resident education and the development of inpatient and outpatient policies and protocols for perioperative pain management. He is at the forefront of regional anesthesia and ultrasound guided nerve blocks, and shares his knowledge with his colleagues over the web, and at cadaver courses, such as the American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine.
Dr. Rosenblum's practice, AABP Pain Management, uses a multidisciplinary approach to treat a wide variety of painful disorders. He is also an experienced anesthesiologist and has worked in trauma, obstetric, orthopedic and general cases prior to taking on the responsibilities of running a full time pain practice.
