Dr. Schwartzberg is experienced in all areas of special education. He has administrative credentials in both NY and California and has served as a classroom teacher and Principal in schools designed to serve special populations as well as general education/mainstream environments. Dr. Schwartzberg has served as Senior SELPA Director and taught university classes designed to prepare prospective special education teachers. He has developed and implemented agreements with other agencies with responsibilities to persons with disabilities. For over 40 years, he has been actively involved in the development, implementation and evaluation of special education programs and he has established protocols for standards of care for students with disabilities.
Some of his areas of expertise include Education & Schools and Developmental Disabilities. He is also a Special Education Expert witness with particular expertise in issues related to the standards of care for children with disabilities. He is experienced in testifying in Civil and Family Court matters as well as Administrative Hearings.
