Emanuel Kapelsohn, Esq., graduate of Yale University and Harvard Law School and President of the Peregrine Corporation, is an internationally-recognized firearms and use of force consultant. He has trained thousands of police, security officers and others since 1980. He is a practicing attorney, widely published author, certified firearms instructor (FBI, NRA and others), and vice president of the International Association of Law Enforcement Firearms Instructors. He has also been certified as an instructor in defensive tactics, baton, less lethal impact munitions, Taser, pepper spray, and handgun retention, holds certification in executive protection, shooting range safety, shooting scene reconstruction, and force science, and has been an Adjunct Professor in the Indiana University Department of Criminal Justice. He regularly testifies in both civil and criminal cases in state and federal courts nationwide on subjects including firearms, intentional and accidental shootings, shooting scene reconstructions, use of force, police and security training and tactics, and self-defense.
