Dr. Gary S. Cohen is an actively practicing, licensed doctor of Speech/ Language Pathology with over 44 years of experience. He has an extensive knowledge of traditional speech and language disorders in children and adults as well as those related to organically based disorders including those created by strokes, neurological anomalies, voice disorders, oropharyngeal surgery, craniofacial anomalies, and swallowing and aphasia disorders.
Dr. Cohen has 32 years of experience as an expert witness and has testified in multiple cases involving Speech Pathology disorders, organically-based and behavioral sequelae. He provides outside reviews of Speech/Language Pathology cases for insurance companies, school systems, and serves as an Expert Witness/Consultant for legal firms and has provided services both plaintiff and defendant. 80% of cases contributed to were settled prior to trial date.
