Dr. George Bogen has been deposed over 50 times; reviewed over 100 cases for plaintiffs and defendants including endodontic related malpractice, injuries, standard of care and peer review. Case ratio 60% plaintiff / 40% defense. He has never been disqualified in a court of law and has been an active clinician in endodontics and general dentistry for over forty years. He is Board Certified and licensed to practice the specialty of endodontics in California, Hawaii, Ohio, New Zealand and Australia.
Dr. George Bogen is currently Senior Lecturer (clinical/academic) for the Discipline of Endodontics at the University of Queensland, School of Dentistry in Brisbane, Australia and was appointed in May of 2018. He works with both postgraduate and undergraduate departments and is involved in clinical training, lecturing, ongoing research and related publications.
He maintained a private endodontic practice in Los Angeles, California from 1998-2018. Dr. Bogen received his dental degree in 1978 and his certificate in endodontics in 1995, both from University of Southern California (USC). He was lecturer for the postgraduate departments at UCLA, NSU, Loma Linda and the VA in Long Beach and is a former Clinical Assistant Professor of Endodontics at USC.
Dr. Bogen is the past President of the Southern California Academy of Endodontists, past secretary and trustee of American Association of Endodontists (AAE) Foundation, currently a member of the Scientific Advisory Board for the Journal of Endodontics, Journal of the California Dental Association and Decisions in Dentistry, past member of the AAE Corporate Relations Committee and a Diplomate of the American Board of Endodontics. He has published numerous research articles, textbook chapters and lectures nationally and internationally.
