Ph.D. in Biochemistry/DNA with over 25 years forensic consulting experience. Retired Director of the NJSP Laboratory System and former Technical Leader/ Deputy Director of NYC OCME Forensic Biology Laboratory. Was responsible for the DNA identification of the victims of 9/11. Services include forensic case review, court testimony, laboratory audit/inspections/ investigations/design, and CLE instruction. Areas of expertise include DNA, serology, criminalistics/trace evidence, alcohol breath testing, drug analysis, and quality assurance/quality control. Currently Secretary of the DNA Consensus Body of the American Standards Board and on the Professional Advisory Board of the forensic program at the NJ Institute of Technology.
