With service in correctional facilities from maximum-security to county jails, Dr. Wright has broad experience with medical and administrative issues that comprise the unique makeup of correctional medicine.
Educated at the University of Michigan, he is board-certified in Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery and holds the designation of Certified Correctional Healthcare Professional - Physician (CCHP-P) from the National Commission on Correctional Health Care. He has served as Medical Director and Physician in prisons and jails for the past twelve years.
Author of two books on correctional healthcare, Dr. Wright is an effective communicator to a lay audience regarding medical practices in jails and prisons.
He is rigorous in his reporting to avoid Daubert objections, and he works with both prosecution and defense councils.
