John Horst is a 25 year veteran information technology professional with internationally recognized certifications in cyber security and secure software architectures and development. Mr. Horst currently supports the Office of the Secretary of Defense's Defense Manpower Data Center, advising on program architecture and secure software development. Mr. Horst provided expert consultation and testimony in Planned Parenthood Federation of America v Center for Medical Progress. Mr. Horst has also consulted for the defense on digital forensics in an industrial espionage case in federal court. Mr. Horst appears regularly on local (San Diego, CA) media to provide expert commentary on data privacy and cyber security issues in the news.
