Dr. Jonathan Burroughs is President and CEO of The Burroughs Healthcare Consulting Network, Inc. He is a certified healthcare and physician executive and is a fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives and the American Association for Physician Leadership. His qualified areas of expertise include physician-hospital alignment strategies, medical staff affairs, physician performance issues, fair/judicial hearings, negligent credentialing/privileging/peer review, medical staff development planning, healthcare administration and physician contracting. He has participated in 127 legal cases (both for plaintiff and defense), 35 depositions, and 12 trial testimonies.
Dr. Burroughs serves on the national faculty of the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE) and the American College of Physician Executives (currently the American Association for Physician Leadership), where he has been consistently rated as one of their top speakers and educators. Dr. Burroughs is the author or co-author of six management books including: "Redesign the Medical Staff Model- A Guide to Collaborative Change" (Winner of the 2016 James A. He has served over 1,500 healthcare clients in 50 states and is a popular and respected national healthcare speaker and consultant.
