Kathy has over 30 years of experience in assisted living and Medicaid Waiver programs including group homes, supported living, and adult day services. Populations served include individuals with developmental/intellectual disabilities, chronic mental illness, brain injuries, physical disabilities, and frail elders.
Her experience includes the roles of caregiver, middle management, administrator, and executive. This experience gives her a thorough understanding of all levels of assisted living operations, resident care and treatment, and standards of care.
As a consultant, Kathy works with providers to enhance quality and regulatory compliance. She is an adjunct instructor at the University of Wisconsin - Green Bay and the Wisconsin Caregiver Academy. She has been a speaker at conferences presenting on client assessments and Individual Service Plans (ISP), quality improvement, root cause analysis, and treatment protocols.
Kathy has served as an expert in cases throughout the country and has a case mix of 50/50 between plaintiff and defense.
