Dr. Seifert earned his BS in Biochemistry from SUNY at Binghamton and his MD from Johns Hopkins, completing his residency in Internal Medicine at University of Michigan Medical Center, Cardiology Fellowship training at Harvard Medical School, Beth Israel Hospital, and Electrophysiology training at Harvard's, Brigham & Women's Hospital. His honors include: US News & World Report Top Docs (one of only 156 nationwide in Electrophysiology in 2011 and 2012), Phi Beta Kappa and the American Federation for Clinical Research, Trainee Investigator Award. Dr. Seifert has published papers and abstracts in leading medical journals, and has presented research at international meetings. He has received several grants to support basic research, and participates in Multicenter Clinical Trials. His practice includes complex ablation such as atrial fibrillation and VT, as well as implanted devices and laser and mechanical lead extraction. Dr. Seifert serves as the Medical Director of Cardiac Electrophysiology at Honor Health Heart Institute & John C. Lincoln Medical Center, Phoenix, Arizona. He is a thought leader in fluoroscopy reduction utilizing MediGuide® technology and speaks internationally in this area.
