Roofing & Waterproofing Forensics, Inc. is solely a consulting firm specializing in roofing, waterproofing, sheet metal, exterior building envelope weather and moisture barriers and cladding systems (stucco, E.I.F.S., siding, masonry and cavity walls, windows and doors, etc.). Our specialties are design reviews, performing complex leak investigations in order to determine the cause and origin of leaks as well as developing comprehensive and effective scopes of repairs. We have provided litigation support on hundreds of complex construction defect litigation cases representing Defense, Plaintiff and as a Neutral Third Party. Mark has provided expert witness testimony in over a dozen trials and been deposed well over 125 times.
Conducting 1,000's of leak investigations over the past 30 years has provided invaluable experience in proving the source(s) of water intrusion, why the system failed and the responsible parties. Our expertise includes virtually all types of commercial and residential roofing (i.e., low-sloped asphalt built-up roofing, APP and SBS modified bitumen, elastomeric and rubberized systems, single plies (PVC, CSPE, CPE, EPDM, TPO, etc.), coating systems, standing seam metal roofing, clay and cement tile, wood and asphalt shingles.
In addition to roofing, we have extensive experience with virtually every type of waterproofing system and material.
