Michael Armstrong, MD graduated summa cum laude from Princeton University and ten completed Duke University Medical School with a merit scholarship. He trained in Otolaryngology and Facial Plastic Surgery for six years at johns Hopkins Medical Institution before returning to his home town of Richmond, Virginia in 1995. Dr. Armstrong is the founder and president of Richmond ENT, a single specialty medical group that provides a wide ear, nose and throat services. In addition to his full time clinical practice, Dr. Armstrong is actively engaged in clinical research and he instructs family practice residents and nurse practitioner students as an Assistant Clinical Professor at Virginia Commonwealth University.
Dr. Armstrong provides independent medical examinations, record reviews, expert opinions and courtroom testimony regarding illnesses and injuries of the face, ears, nose sinuses, mouth, tonsils, larynx and neck. He is a published expert on endoscopic sinus surgery and on strangulation injuries. He has testified more than 20 times and provided his opinion in more than 100 personal injury cases.
