As a musculoskeletal radiologist in practice since 1997, Dr. Nancy Major's career has largely been in academic radiology (Duke, University of Pennsylvania and UCHealth, Boulder and Aurora, CO). Currently, she is a Professor of Radiology, Division of Musculoskeletal, with an appointment to the Department of Orthopedics, and also the Director of the Musculoskeletal Fellowship Training Program at CU SOM (University of Colorado School of Medicine), where she continues to devote a great deal of time to education of students, residents and practicing radiologists. It was during these experiences that Dr. Major honed the skills necessary to be an effective communicator.
Dr. Major has been doing expert witness testimony for plaintiff as well as defendants. She has also functioned as a consultant when necessary. Her assistance has been used in hundreds of cases in over 15 states and includes depositions as well as court appearances.
Dr. Major's abilities to communicate with counsel, opposing counsel and juries is due to the experience she has gained through her professional career as well as the years of expert witness opportunities.
