Dr. Wilhelm has worked in the field of Automotive Electronics continually for the last 47 years. He has worked in advanced research, development, & product engineering areas for General Motors, Delphi/Delco Electronic Systems, and as an independent consultant for 17 years for dozens of automotive suppliers around the world.
His areas of expertise: automotive safety systems, audio, infotainment & telematics systems, automotive displays, center stacks, human factors/user interface design, sensors & actuators, software, diagnostics/prognostics, ADAS safety, cameras and vision systems, remote & wireless control devices, various electronic componentry, engine control systems, closed loop control systems, etc.
We have supported over 20 different law firms, over two-dozen clients, and have supported both plaintiffs and defendants in IP litigation. We have written dozens of reports/declarations and given depositions or testimony in nine cases. Our expert work has supported both IPR and District Court cases.
