Dr. Boxer is a board-certified urologist with 39 years of experience in private and academic practice. Dr. Boxer currently is practicing medicine. He is a Clinical Professor of Urology at The David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA and a Clinical Professor in the Department of Urology at the University of Wisconsin (Madison). He has been a professor at the Medical College of Wisconsin and the University of Miami (Florida). He is an attending urologist at the Los Angeles (UCLA) Veterans Administration Hospital. He has been awarded a Presidential Citation for excellence in Urology, Best Doctors nationally and 5 times locally (Milwaukee). He was a finalist for Surgeon General of the United States in 1997 and 2001. He represented the US at the World Health Organization. He is an editor of mHealth, the international journal of mobile health, and was the Chief Medical Officer of the nation's largest telemedicine company. He also is a national expert in health policy, having written policy and consulted with the White House, Department of Health and Human Services, Congressional and State Leaders.
