Rick Santoro is an A.S.I.S. International board Certified Protection Professional (CPP) and an experienced Hospitality, Resort, Premises Liability Security expert. He has been providing expert witness and litigation support services for the legal community in both defense and plaintiff matters. Santoro has 30 years of corporate security experience that included responsibility for security operations, risk management, executive protection, physical security, CCTV design and operation, investigations, special events, and labor action preparation. As an independent security expert, Mr. Santoro has opined, developed, planned and consulted on various security operation, physical security, target hardening, emergency management, event planning, nightclub security and matters for numerous public and private organizations. Mr. Santoro was a member of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security's Commercial Sector Coordinating Council, from 2008-2014 and the New Jersey Office of Homeland Security and Protection's N.I.P.P. committee. He is a DHS/UNLV Certified Instructor for Soft Target Terrorism Awareness Training, an Instructor for the NJ Regional Intelligence Academy, and a Tactical Oleoresin Capsicum (pepper spray) Instructor. Santoro earned a Bachelor's degree from Fairleigh Dickenson University, and is a 2011 graduate of the FBI Citizen's Academy.
