Robert Callaway provides honest, knowledgeable, expert analyses of complaints involving commercially processed foods, food containers and allegations of food-borne illness. The claims have involved identifying alleged foreign materials including animals, stones, bones, struvite, glass, and many more. He can often determine if the materials were packed with the incident food or introduced after opening.
He has performed more than 50,000 food forensic examinations and has presented expert testimony in more than 100 trials in 31 states.
He was the Food Forensic Laboratory Director for the NFPA/Grocery Manufacturers Association for 23 years. He continues providing his expertise as needed.
